Inglewood is a large Edwardian Townhouse lovingly restored to provide a mixture of tradition with upto date facilities. Our passion is to provide everything we can to ensure our guests have a wonderful stay.
Comfortable beds, immaculate elegant rooms, gorgeous bedding, a fabulous breakfast and mostimportant a very warm welcome. We collaborate with The New Seasons Restaurant (5 minutes walk) where our guests enjoy the good food and hospitality provided by chef and owners Amir and Samantha. The Inglewood Luxury B And B is a short stroll takes you to the shops, Lancashire pubs, and restaurants, not forgetting our Award Winning Chip Shop,loved by our American guests. The lovely Astley Hall and park grounds, are a five minute walk away with the Cafe Ambio and conference centre. For the adventurous GO APE is situated in the Rivington Reservoir Park and Anderton Water Sports centre. We have visitors travelling from London to Scotland, walking and cycling the Lands End to John O Groats,and walking the Leeds to Liverpool canal . Blackpool pleasure beach is a 30 minute drive away. Southport, Botany Bay, Wigan Pier and Lancaster are also a short journey away. Manchester and the Trafford centre are 30 miles away and Liverpool and Liverpool airport are both about twenty five minutes by car. Local towns include Chorley, Wigan, Leyland and Preston City. We certainly seem to be in the centre of things. The railway and bus station are ten minutes walk and we are happy to book a taxi for you if the stroll with luggage seems dauntingM6 and M61 motorway networks nearby. The proprietor Jackie has appeared on the Loose Woman TV programme, ranting about the state of the bacon sold in Supermarketsin this country today, so we invite you to try our Ashley Farm bacon, sausage and free range eggs . . Thick, tasty and very fresh!! Vegetarian Menu also available. As you can see we are a small business with a very big heart. Try us, you won t be disappointed. Road DirectionsFrom M6 leave at Junction 28. Turn right at t-junction onto A49, Wigan Road, straight through for 10 mins until you arrive at a small roundabout where you turn left onto the A581 - Balshaw Lane towards Chorley. Past Lancashire College. Inglewood can be seen on your right hand side.From the M61 junction 8.Head towards Chorley town centre past Astley Park on your right to the traffic lights. Town Hall right hand side.Turn right at the lights down St Thomas Rd which turns into Southport Rd , carry on to number 19 on your left hand sidePublic Transport DirectionsBus station - approx 10 minutes walk. Turn right out of Inglewood onto Southport Road, turning into St. Thomas Road (A581). At the Town Hall turn left then right onto Union Street, turn right after the market. Bus Station on the right.Chorley Train Station as above at Union Street, carry on to the end, turn right onto Shephered Way, train station is on your left.
